Medications and Sex

Sat, 03/10/2007 - 12:29
Hi, I was just wondering if anyone knows which medication(s) may produce the most sexual side effects. I am on 4 different medications and my sexual desire went way down to just about nothing. I don't know what pill is doing this to me (and I know it is the drugs). My boyfriend is getting so frustrated with it as well as I am, but I don't know what to do. Does anyone have any idea which medication may have produced this more than the other medications? If you are having the same problem, which drugs are you taking? Can someone please help me?

Yes, my wife and I have. A boy who is now nearly two.

This next comment is not meant to be horrible, but it may be that in the past you have had more sensitive boyfriends, and anyone recent may need a bit of guidance in what makes you happy. Our son did not arrive for three years, but we did have to try quite hard. When all is said and done, I am a bit of an old fart - 46 so no real surprises there.

hi, i don't think it's screwed up.  i can't say i experience this but i have had some above average urges.  especially when i took dilantin.  i no longer take dilantin.  i now take keppra xr 3000mg and vimpat 200mg and still i seem to have a very sensitive and instant arousal.  i read how some people have a decrease in their sex drive.  that's unfortunate, but i still believe that daily exercise and a good diet along with physical and mental sexual stimulation goes a long way.

I have the same problem so don't feel so bad, you're not the only one.
