Hi, I was first taken in a seizure 30-Jan-00 but never knew what it was, no doc has diagnozed me as having epilepsy. Yet I started taking my medicine 02-Sept-03 (Carbamazipine & Phernobabitone) I have recorded great success nonethelesss. Nowadays it all starts with things like stress at work and I would become uncontrollable and easily irritable. I rarely convulse. I may need advise from members on how best I can have my situation addressed. Expert medical attention still far away from being a reality in my third country ZAMBIA

Chad.Organise the forum.Keep it open and regulated fairly, and you will do well. You are a kind decent young man from the sounds of your posts. You deserve to do well and go far. What you want to do is so encouraging and deserves encouragement ....Tibet2 was having incompatability issues with their computer they posted in reply to you before,so maybe that's why no reply.Just a shrewd guess.Dispell the myths Chad, you will go far in your efforts to create something good. You have the will to do so.Your posts tell me that.Work schedules/shifts cannot be changed,I realise that, but I also realise that if effort is put into something to create something good, then it can be done. The person has to want to make that effort,to listen, and to not tender excuses...Or hide behind a myth and keep on generating it to suit their purpose, and enlist others to do so at the expense of others who get hurt.Big difference.I'm not talking painting here either(Yea,I can read as well Jude2,trouble was I read all the mails posted (you read part of it is my guess.)as I did all your posts regarding your, 'take',on how you saw epilepsy as relating to the influence in your life.Great role model(especially the swearing.)

Hi, I am an American women with epilepsy. I also take Carbamazipine I take 700mg a day or 3 and one half tablets a day. I occationally have an aura. But not often if I keep down the stress and stay on a routine. I have noticed if I am in a strange place or if I do something out of routine or start a new job ( which is stressfull) it happens. Get off the Phenobarbatol it stays in your system for years after you stop taking it and it makes you tired and weak. Try to get your doctor to give you one medication. Good Luck and God bless you.
