I was diagnosed back in January of this year. At the same time my seizures started, the twitching started too! It got so bad at times that some that my body would constantly have a twitch somewhere. After being diagnosed and put on meds, the intensity of the twitching slowly decreased, but has never completely gone away. It still scares me sometimes...

Hi hmselby2,
It's hard to tell with meds if the reaction/side effect is not a 'classic' one.
I developed a tremor of my eyeballs (it feels like they tremoring, but someone watching does not see it moving; I feel like someone is shaking the landscape I am looking at from side-to-side) after going on Topamax. I thought it was the drug and brushed it off. When I went on Keppra, it happened too. Too much of a coincidence so I started wondering.
Happens, I have a tremor of the body anyway. So my docs said it was possible the tremor has spread and I would have had it anyway. So it was very abnormal for me because it was new, but then again, maybe not that abnormal. I even thought about the possibility of some funny seizure (simple partial?) that I didn't realise I was having.
I'm thinking your case is similar. You have a seizure disorder, and MAYBE, it's related and is an extension of some sort. Maybe it could be the drug.
Ask your doctor. Mine conceeded she doens't know. She believed me, thankfully.
At the end of the day, we might never find out, but at least, the doctor is aware of it, has it on record, and can take possible future precautions, if any!
Good luck!
