Muscle Twitch in Legs/body?

I just discovered this site the other day. I am hoping it will be a good forum for information and support. I am 33 years old and was diagnosed with seizure disorder last June. I haven't had any seizures since starting dilantin, however I continue to have what I like to call "Seizure Activity". Essentially it involves muscle tics/jerks/spasm in my legs, and now in my face. It usually only happens when I am tired. My doctor keeps telling me it isn't necessarily seizure related, but it's too abnormal not to be. Not to mention that the symptoms started when my seizures started and also subsided when I started the meds.

Anybody experience just a single jerk?Last weird seizure,unlike my usual,beez vibrating my nostrils,single jerk of right shoulder then head jerk,couldnt move my mouth to speak or lift my arms.Only lasted a minute then repeated itself.Oh and I had feeling of bug landing then moving on my head.Over quick but ive never heard of just a single jerk moving from shoulder to head.Most things I read,people are twitching or jerking more than once

HM,
Are you having any cognitive issues? Of course, these can be found with epilepsy, but Multiple Sclerosis may be something to consider. I know there are also other movement disorders that can cause spasms and tics, but MS I am familiar with.
Feel free to read my blog and see if anything sounds familiar.

Hi my names Kia I got diagnosed with epilepsy in late 2012 stop taking meds (something started with v) coz of side effects early last year I don't think I have had another , since having seizures my head has the weird twitches (makes my head jerk to the side like all of a sudden my head turns ) and random jerks in my legs (leg just kicks out ) on odd occasion in my arms, my limbs are noticeable but people don't always notice my head twitches is this normal to have after having seizures ?? And what exactly does having abnormal brain waves in a EEG scan mean ?
