Epilepsy Protocol MRI
Fri, 08/25/2006 - 16:32Can anyone explain what the difference on this type of MRI is and why after 3 years of having about 10 MRI's that I wouldn't have had one already?My EPI is booked until January. If anyone could let me know the difference I would appreciate it. Thanks Joan

Thanks pamela. I found another site that explains the MRI protocol procedure. Sounds like this should be done more often in epilepsy patients.

iT GIVES A DEEPER PICTURE OF THE BRAIN, TEMPORAL LOBES, ETC....ITS MUCH MORE REFINED FROM WHAT I UNDERSTAND....I HAD MINE A FEW WEEKS AGO AND MY BRAIN DOESN HAVE ANY DEFORMITIES BUT STILL HAVE TO GO THRU VEEG.......HOW MANY FOLKS WITH E HAVE NORMAL MRI BUT ABNORMAL VEEG???
