"I need a buddy that has seizures 2"

Sun, 02/05/2006 - 18:43
I'm 20 yrs old I've had seizures for over 7 yrs, I was homeschooled all throughout highschool so I never got to expierence it. which is kind of a bummer. I have plenty of friends but all of my friends are just weird when it comes to my epilepsy. What really sucks is being 20 years old and not being able to drive I feel like I'm baby. I just wish a had a friend that was goin through what i'm goin through. -miranda-

I'm 26 and have no idea how long I've been having seizures for. Doctor thinks a long time. I got a license and drove for 3 years before we learned I was having seizures. Now my license is under a medical suspension (I think). I'm not comfortable driving anyway. The thought of getting into an accident and hurting someone scares me. I take the bus. If your city has a decent public transit system, you have just as much freedom with a bus as you do with a car. :) The other option is to get a boyfriend with a car and a license. ;) Even though I had a license, I didn't really have any freedom till I had a boyfriend (now husband) with a car.
