Adios, First of all, if something is not good for your health, then it will definitely be a problem with seizures. Smoking CAN trigger a seizure. http://www.ninds.nih.gov/disorders/epilepsy/detail_epilepsy.htm Take care Lisa http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/epilepsyapproach/

Quite a few years ago I tried out smoking and I know for a fact that smoking cigarettes can trigger seizures to people prone to Epilepsy and make them worse. I have Complex Partial Seizures where I won't fall to the ground, but on this particular occassion I had a seizure while I was taking a walk to my local store. When I came round, I found myself on the floor near a road. Luckily, there were no cars around at the time. I stopped smoking after that and since then I have not fallen during a seizure again. So please do not start smoking. The risk isn't worth it. Take care
