post seizure Vomiting

Hello...I am new to this site...my son may have petite mal seizures....since finding out that this may be true, we have been noticing a few things recently....the one I have that is most standing out is Vomiting....when sleeping he has been...for over a 2 months...waking at night and vomitting...he has gone days....to weeks without vomitting....attributed to a stomach bug the first few times..but tonight...I began to wonder if he is possibly vomitting following a seizure....the doctor said that he could be having multiple ones while sleeping. Has anyone every heard of this....my net search has been rendered useless! Thanks Mom to one cool 7 year old and one 8 month old diva!

My son is 27 yrs old..still my baby though. His seizures started when he turned 17..at first we were told it was a heat strok because it was so hot but then they kept coming. He now is on 2- different meds but still have theml. He is no longer a canidate for surgery because it on both sides of hisd brain. Now he start vomiting..not sure if he has a seizure whe he does it or after because I've never witnested it..always show up after the fact. Doctors have not been able to give us anything good about this, like its something new..anybody have this issue and what have you been told.

This site is Heaven sent. My daughter has epilepsy and now she has started vomiting at least once a day. It started 6 days ago. She has had a terrible childhood for a 3 year old because of painful seizures that went undiagnosed until she turned 3 years old.

Could it be abdominal Epilepsy?

She was diagnosed with GERDS but the medicine she was not working so it wasnt' GERDS she was having Seizures the entire time.

Sadly, i know this all too well.. Started with the seizures at 8 until now (18), the nausea hits instantly. for the first 3-4 years i would puke every. single. time. Now i don't vomit anymore when i have a seizure (just had one before writing this comment) but the unbearable urge to do so is still there. When i get a seizure, my saliva builds up in such a way, that every time i have a seizure (over three thousand times already) i constantly swallow during the ordeal, and there is nothing i can do about it.
