Medication vs natural remedies

Sat, 08/19/2017 - 18:31
I am wondering if there's anyone out there that has opted to go a more natural route for preventing seizures vs the typical medication prescribed. I'm having a difficult time wrapping my head around giving my son a medication that could potentially have very serious negative side effects. He's 4, and has had 4 tonic seizures that last about 10-15 seconds in the past 2.5 years.

Google Ketogenic diet and epilepsy. And watch the 1997 true story movie with Meryl Streep called 'First Do No Harm" which is available free on You Tube.It is more successful than any drug outcome. We have never medicated our son and he's certainly getting better rather than worse.
