I am sorry that I can't answer more of your questions but I do know that it is possible for a metabolic disorder to cause seizures. This was a possibility for my little girl, still is to some extent, but we were switched from seeing an endocrinologist over to a neuro. (My little girl had to grand-mal seizures with very low blood sugar.) But appears to be having partial seizures even when her blood sugar is stable. I hope that you can find answers some answers soon. Best of luck to you. Jessica

I hope that this reply comes with good timing.  Our stories are so sad.  I could not believe what I was reading.  I am a grandmother of a 3 month old that has been suffering since birth.  Your words describe our situation exactly.  Tell us how your stituation has progressed.  I am hoping that you can share with us the one drug that we haven't tried yet and has worked for Janell. I truly hope that Janell is doing well.

The metabolic test are slowly coming back leaving us as empty as when we started.  In the short three months that we have had this presious baby, home only 7 days total, we have hurt so much for the baby and parents.   Your words and insight welcome.
