symptoms of epilepsy

i am new to this all but i am currently seein a neurologist atm first of all he said it was anxiety attacks and then sent me home then he called me a week later n asked me back and started me on tablets for epilepsy i am still waiting to have a MRI scan and an EEG. the only thing is my symptoms are different i am conscious when i have a fit but i cannot control my body my arms usually start to go up and my legs go funny then my head turns to the side and my speech goes funny to i cannot communicate with no one while it is happenin people who have seen it happen have said its like im in another world when it happens i just wanna know what you think do you reckon these are symptoms of epilepsy?

I had my first panic attack about 3 weeks ago. I was really upset and just started hyperventilating and shaking. I was told it was a panic attack that ended up as a seizure. I am now taking Buspirone (sp?) for anxiety. Not sure it helps but we will see. Good luck. These do seem like E. I'm sorry to hear that you are having to deal with this. Its a really tough road. aww hey hun soz 2 hear dat its annoyin innit but wot can u do hope d pills do work 4 u they didnt help me lol i am now on Carbamazepine hopefully i am diagnosed properly n it all gets sorted soon hugs 2 u 2 tc n chat soon

heya angeleyez...! i'm 17 in full time education, and yes that is symptoms of epilepsy because i pretty much have the same! im not sure if it is epilepsy but it is definatly symtoms! look up 'complex partial epilepsy' on google.com... anyway sorry to hear you have it... what medication are you on? im on epilem and lamotrigine! which practically controls it. matt p.s please e-mail me when you find your results...
