Sorry for any confusion- yes I'm on the slow release. I'm still in the first two weeks so my body is adjusting, but man this stuff is killer on the stomach. I'm concerned about focus/concentration and potential weight gain, but hope those will go away

Hi, only problem I had when I switched to the slow release Tegretol ('Retard') was feeling really tired a lot, & that didn't last.. had no other side effects to speak of. I have always had kind of a problem with concentration, but not sure whether thats the drugs or whether thats just comes with having Epilepsy. sorry your having a bad time with it at the mo. try & stick with it for a while, its one of the best drugs I've been on. Good Luck! Ruth
