You may have already gotten this answer to your question, but several seizure meds cause rashes some which can be serious (ex. Steven Johnson's Syndrome). If the problem hasn't cleared up yet, I would talk to your doctor immediately. Not to scare you or anything, but some of the rashes can actually cause your skin to fall off......

I have had those burning sensations around my nose, but just once in a blue moon. How serious is that? My doctor has never made a big stink about it.
