I have used many different

I have used many different meds. They all have side effects. Yes some people have side effects and you can find posts regarding those side effects. Keppra was one that people wrote a lot about callimg it keprage. I also know how this side effects get put in since I have been in new drug studies. We were to write down anything that was different that day and the test could be a 6 month or 9 month study. I also know that I have only had 3 side effects to medications I have used in the 50+ years I have been living and dealing with epilepsy. If you read posts about them understand that 5-8% of the people taking it get side effects and they are generally the people posting. So remember there are 92-95% of the people taking the med that have had a side effect. Mood changes can come from almost anything. I have had them after eating some things.  I would also suggest you get the My Epilepsy Diary and use it. It can be found in the get help section. Watch the video which tells you how to use it and what it can do to help. Use the note pad and write down things that are different. You can give his doctor permission to bring it up and he can use the graphs and other things to find possiable triggers, medications, dosages and procedures that can help get your son seizure free. I hope this helps and yo  get your son seizure free Joe
