Does anyone have info about lamictal

Hi everyone,  Its been a long time since I've posted.  My son had been doing really well on 200  mg  TOPAMAX   2x daily

1200 mg  NEURONTIN  3x daily and 600 mg TRILEPTAL  1x daily & 900 mg 1x daily.  He had no seizures for 7 months.  Thats a really long record for him.  We thought we found the right mix our meds.  Then he started having liver problems, so now they are weaning him off only the TRILEPTAL and starting him on the LAMICTAL.   I wondered if anyone one else had this problem?  Anyone having success on LAMICTAL?  Thanks for any help!

marko88 - I would love it if you could send this website to me also. kcrow511@sbcglobal.net is my e-mail addy. The more info that I can get on meds and them being paid for or even partially paid for the better. I am now only down to one med, but it is Lamictal and I'm sure that we all know how expensive this one is. Hopefully soon since my VNS surgery and now that my body is adjusting to it, I will not have to take any more than maybe just this one med but the price of it is, well, lets just say that it's quite enough! I appreciate your help with this website &/or matter. Good luck to you and I hope that you get and stay in great health.Kris93610

Hi Penny:My son is also on Topamax and it controls his grand mal seizures; but we needed to add another med to control the other s, we looked at Lamictal and I think it is also processed through the liver, I am not certain, but ask your doctor to be safe. All the best!MLB
