What do flickering/flashing lights do to you?

What effect do flickering or flashing lights have on you? Can you describe a bit how you feel when you encounter them and what happens to you?

Does everyone with epilepsy have a reaction to them? Is everyone photosensitive in this way or is photosensitive just one specific type, and there are others who are not bothered by what they see?

I have epilepsy caused by a benine brain tumour the size of an orange which I have only 1cm left ... but I also have photosensitive epilepsy too ... I found that out at my first techno festival when the strobes were lowered I had a seizure ... my last one watching terminator 3 Arnie was shooting his gun and the mussel flash on an old style tv was enough to have me dancing but not in the good way ... Well I'm going to Amsterdam with my good mate Davina.. but I have photosentive epilepsy but would love to be able to go clubbing with her ... so does anyone have any ideas about getting around this... surely there must be photo sensitive epileptic ravers out there... any help would be greatly appreciated ... Michael
