Were you fine and then get suddenly worse?

I'm just wondering if anyone else had went through treatment for their epilepsy, done well for awhile and then all of a sudden had them get worse without warning? Did you ever find out what triggered them to get worse?

Can I ask what kind of job it was? Just curious. I had a stressful job when I was first diagnosed, it was in drug detox and rehab. But I don't think it was necessarily the job itself so much as the hours and the people I worked with. For the first few months I worked a swing shift between second and first, then I switched to third. It was common for me to get frozen into shifts working as long as 36 hours straight, was nuts. I miss it though, I liked the clients.

It wasn't the job itself but the situation i was in. I had been working at a gym and got promoted to assistant operations manager. they offered me manager but i couldnt work fulltime. they hired a girl from out of the company who was an idiot, had no people skills and had employees quitting left and right. the worst part is that my favorite district manager had left right before i was hired and the new guy LOVED the new manager. i had employees complaining to me, had to work 14 days in a row to cover shifts, cover the managers butt when she continiously messed up, get written up by the district manager because he was a douchebag. it was just a bad situation. the day i had it she called me to cover HER shift and i said i didnt feel well... she said she had a doctors appointment. So i did. I went out for lunch but went home to sleep for an hour...woke up late, got my butt back to work, walked in and had the seizure. Five minutes after being in the car :-x

People can be completely controlled, then ,out of the blue, the seizures may appear again if/when they deveop a tolerance to the medications. http://www.epilepsy.com/articles/ar_1064956631.html Hi motherearth, Auras are simple partial seizures. They are only 'referred to' as auras if/when thery occur immediately before another seizure type. http://www.epilepsy.com/stories/ps_1064005012.html
