Spots in Vision

Question: Who here sees "Spots" in their vision as either a result of or part of a seizure? I'm seeing black spots in my vision again (along with a few other "funny feelings") and am wondering if it's seizure activity recurring (had surgery 4 years ago and nothing since until the last 6 mos. or so)?? Anyone?

Hi stefie, I have had black spots in my vision as well, but I don't know if it is related to seizure activity or the migraines that I get. Do you get migraines? dmcamethyst

I do get migraines. Typically tension migraines. I have heard from my dr's that the spots can be from migraines or seizures. Of course, I've had these spots for years when I did have seizures and now that they have returned (I'm technically sz free for almost 4 years now), it makes me a bit uncomfortable... You know how it goes.

I have just recently started having small black "dots" in my vision sometimes. It seems to happen especially when I am tired or stressed out, and seems to me to be part of my seizure pattern. I have TLE, with simple and complex partial seizures. Barbie
