Hi, One must be aware the battery lasts only so long and then it must be replaced. I had excellent results on my first. Now that I had my second put in I have been having a little bit of trouble, i.e. incission site pain that has lasted too long.

Hello Ivis, I have not had the VNS done but have thought about it myself. I have a phone # that might help with your decision. Call 1-800-332-1375 x7572 and ask for Sandy Mata RN. She is out of Dallas, TX area. She is a registered RN and would be more than happy to send you a packet of information along with a VHS or DVD showing you what the VNS is and what the process entails. Her email address is Sandra.Mata@cyberonics.com If you would like to talk at anytime you can email me at lmusic20032003@yahoo.com Lynn
