How Clumsy Are You?

Wed, 09/13/2006 - 14:21
Out of curiosity, how many of you are clumsy because of your seizures? When I am having SPS and go what I term 'a little spacey', if I am holding anything, I have a tendency to drop it. Another example that is common with me, is managing to stumble and trip up on the straight floor of my kitchen, while standing still, first thing in the morning, where SPS are really common with me. It's infuriating because it's rarely seen by people around me as anything other than me not paying attention (oh how familiar it sounds to my teacher in primary school when I would space out!) but I'm certain it's part of seizing. Any thoughts?

*sends hugs back* You are more than welcome. I always think it's nice to talk to other people who have the same experiences - it's a little easier to handle.

I come across as being clumsy also. I suppose I am, but in a strange way - I make the spectacular reflex/reaction plays, but blow the easy ones. I guess it's a lack of sustained focus, probably the meds. It's frustrating, especially when stuff gets broken - but only a minor inconvenience.
