Epilepsy and sterilization

Hi! My fiance has been on epilepsy medication since he was nine years old and know is 28. We plan on having natural children in the future and we are aware that there is a chance he is sterile because of his medications. I was wondering if anyone knew for sure some of the medications that are known to cause sterilization in men. I also would love it if someone could provide some resources such as websites to aid me in learning more about this subject. Thanks to all who read and reply to my question. Manprasert

I also was on phenobarbital , tegretal .....and I have four children but then again I am a women not a male.I do have a support group that in links has alot of good web sites for epilepsy.http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/EpilepsyApproach/Lisa

my husband has been on dilantin since he was nine years old and we have 3 children. I am not aware of any epilepsy medicine that will make a man sterile.

I have been on phenobarb since age 15 and had no problems with conception. I am not familiar with meds affectiing fertility. As for us we have 2 healthy children; no problems related to epilepsy/neurology.
