Do you consider auras to be seizures

Mon, 12/06/2004 - 10:57
My husband had epilepsy and had surgery a little over two months ago. He has had auras on and off for the past two days, no seizures. However, when I called his doctors office the nurse said that auras are little seizures. I never heard that before and now am heartbroken because if I tell my husband that he will lose it. Has anyone else heard that before?Jackie

Karolwf,

Call we communicate privately?  I'd like more info on the Mayo program and this site may not be the appropiate place to discuss facilities.  My email is mccubbin@wctatel.net and please put Epilepsy in the subject line or my spam and virus filters might kick it out.  Thanks...............Lee

Hi theresa,

I would love to find out more info from you.  My email is jackieoh@nyc.rr.com if you do not mind.  Also, please put epilepsy in the subject line so that my virus protection doesn't boot your message.

Thank you for your help.

Jackie
