Chiropractors?

Sat, 08/01/2009 - 14:48

Has anyone tried this? How did it go. I've heard that having adjustments has helped some people dramatically.  I even read this in an epilepsy textbook online. On another website there was a story about a girl who had multiple grand mals a day and they were stopped.

I don't knowwhat the science behind it is, exactly. Something to do with the spine affecting nerves. But they don't even always know the mechanism of action with regard to the drugs. I'm going to make an appointment for the upcoming week.

I am having seizures daily and it is really affecting my daily life. I can't function and I don't want to live this way. The Dr. started me on Keppra, but it was making me so out of it that I was falling asleep during the day watching my son. Switched to Lamictal and had an allergic reaction, switched to Lyrica and had the same kind of reaction. Feel like I might as well just die. Right now I am not on anything except the xanax I have been on for 2 years for anxiety and Neurontin. Having 3 types of seizures and headaches are getting worse, feel like I am functioning as about an 8 year old, no memory and havinf partials and abscence seizures every day. Someone who has been through this please help or give me some advice....I am tired of this....
