NEW THERAPY GRANTS PROGRAM
The New Therapy Grants Program provides grants supporting the research and development of new therapies in both the academic and commercial settings worldwide to scientific and clinical investigators pursuing innovative, high impact projects that demonstrate a clear path to commercialization from the lab to patient.
The New Therapy Grants Program was created through a unique partnership between two leading epilepsy non-profit organizations, the Epilepsy Therapy Project and the Epilepsy Foundation. The mission of the New Therapy Grants Program is to drive the development of new therapies for epilepsy, accelerating the advancement of research from the laboratory to the patient.
Funding
$500,000 is available for funding for the Fall 2010 grant cycle. Although we anticipate awarding grants of $100,000 on average, we strongly encourage proposals ranging from $50,000 - $500,000. Multi-year proposals are also welcome, and will be considered.
