All About Epilepsy & Seizures

All About Epilepsy & Seizures

Seizures and epilepsy can be more complicated than you think. It's not a 'one size fits all problem'. There are many different types of seizures that can affect people in different ways. While seizures can be easy to diagnose and control for some people, for many others, epilepsy is a lifelong problem that can affect people in many different ways. Whether you are new to epilepsy or have known it all your life, the more you learn, the stronger you'll be. Here's a map of what you'll find in this section. Start at Epilepsy 101: The Basics to gain a basic understanding of the disorder and how it can affect people, then move on to more detailed sections and advanced content. Once you learn about epilepsy, the next steps will be much easier. We hope you'll feel more confident about managing seizures and not let epilepsy get in your way.

Here you'll find information all about seizures and epilepsy - print this out to read, send it to a friend, and know that epilepsy.com is here to help.
