Me to. I have that kind to. They're called drop attacks. I've been dizzy and lightheaded all day and had 2 today here by myself

Hi I'm also new to the site.

Hi I'm also new to the site. I've had two grand mal seizures over two and a half years along with migraines and dizzy spells and Lupus for 20 plus years. Last night I was home alone my husband was on a business trip and I woke up at 4am and was totally confused, clammy, had no idea where I was could not focus and my bed looked like I lost the fight. This morning i woke up exhausted with a bad headache, sore neck and shoulder. I always wonder if I have a seizure and no one is home how would I know if I had one? I too had EEG's and they show normal, but both seizures were in the early morning. Have a call in to the neurologist already but just wondering while I wait.

Hey Haley! I am so sorry

Hey Haley! I am so sorry about last week! So you had a tonic clonic seizure? I am 27 and have been have them since I was 15 and I know how scary it can be. You totally did the right thing, in my opinion. I dont have auras before mine but I do start shaking like crazy (myoclonic jerks and seizures) and then have one. Do you know what "triggers" yours? Sometimes people have them from sleep deprivation or stress or drinking etc. I have mine during my periods and in the mornings. Those types of situations have happened to me too with being home alone. I think the best thing to do is just go lay down as soon as you feel anything happening with your aura. Try not to be scared to be home alone but definately keep your cell on you so you can call someone asap. I hope you are feeling better. Let me know how you are doing with all that E business.... I'll say a prayer for you. Jill
