Trileptal, Keppra, and B6 Vitamin for 10 month old

Wed, 08/22/2007 - 16:59
My son is 10 months old and has had seizures since around 4 weeks of age. For months we thought he was having intestinal reactions but finally took him to the emergency room on Christmas while visiting Florida and he was diagnosed with non-epileptic myoclonic seizures. Since Christmas we have been hospitalized again and had many tests - all EEGs and MRIs appear normal except for some excess fluid in some areas that are not alarming to the neurologist. He has now been diagnosed with epilepsy, having both partial and complex seizures, as well as the myclonic type. He was on trileptal but after a week of seizures in July 2007 and an instance of calling 9-1-1 when he turned blue, he is now on Keppra also and we have just added a B6 vitamin to combate any mood swings. If anyone else has had a similar experience I would really like to chat and compare tests, meds, symptoms, etc. Thanks, Rebecca
