My 6 year old hates the taste of Keppra!

I'm open to ALL suggestions on how to hide the medicine in something.  I was using Danimals Smoothies.  It takes him up to 90 minutes to drink it and he cries the whole time. I feel terrible.

Thank you.

I got some helpful info from a pharmacist. But you might consider getting it compounded with a flavor he likes, if possible (not many pharmacies do that). And it took over a year to get my daughter to take a chewable vitamin (which we knew could help get her to take some medications that would help with hospitalizations - this all predates diagnosis of epilepsy at six). My daughter gets a chaser of chocolate milk for her chewable pills and a small piece of chocolate for the oral medication. It really was something that wasn't an option, so I'm glad we'd worked on vitamins (included explaining why we take only the right amount of medicine and other considerations in completely age appropriate language). I'm also glad it started with a small dose of a single med. And it helped that she really noticed the painful simple partials became fewer, shorter and less painful. We try to give her as much control as possible, sorta helpful with medications not helpful with blood draws or IVs.

I didn't have a child that wouldn't take meds since they knew they wouldn't get to play anything unless they took their pills of any kind
