Epilepsy in Children - Medication

Tue, 01/12/2016 - 12:09

Hi all. Our daughter was diagnosed with epilepsy at 1.5 years old. She is now 3 years old. Her doctor is recommending to put her on phenytoin (Dilantin). My question is... Has any parents had a young child on this medicine? Did the child have a tablet or liquid? How many times a day was this administered? My child is very picky about taking medicine, so I want the best option.
