Hello. my 8 yr old daughter suffers from grand mal seizures that don't occur often but when they due they are very severe and lasts close to an hour. She is currently taking trileptal, keppra, and Dilantin. Her neurologist wants to take her off of the Dilantin but every time we try to wean her off she has horrible episodes and she almost stopped breathing the last time. He recently suggested cannabis oil and we just received it. I just want to know if anyone has tried this with these medications? What are the side effects??
