anger episodes

My 31 yr. old son has had anger issues his entire life. I don't think they are caused caused by his medication as much my the epilepsy itself. They have been progressively worse over time. I am afraid to be around him now and there is little if any warning of these episodes. He gets very hurtful with his words. I am feeling so very guilty because I just can't take it anymore. He is so sorry after Im trying to understand My heart aches over
