Hi, New to the forum but I need some help. My other half suffers from epilepsy and when he has seizures my anxiety levels shoot through the roof. I lose my appetite any small movement he makes I jump. It goes to the extent that I can not sit in the same room as him. Someone please help me!

I understand what you are

I understand what you are feeling completely as I have a son with epilepsy.  Just Joe has given some great advice.  I would like to add that a therapist or psychiatrist can also be of great benefit.  I have generalized anxiety disorder to begin with and the panic and anticipatory nature of epilepsy really made it hard for my body to settle down and get out of fight or flight mode.  Medication when needed helps to get rid of the adrenaline in my body so I can focus more on the good things.  Prayer and meditation and positive thinking also help a great deal.  Best of luck to you and your boyfriend.
