I am the mom of a 16 y/o son. He was just diagnosed with a DNET tumor, they found it after he had a seizure. They did put him on keppra and gave his diastat for a emergency. This happen why he was at his dads fir the summer. He will be coming home soon and I want to be prepared. What should I expect? I have him a apt. as soon as he gets home with his doctor and they will refer us to a neurologist. I have already called and informed him,and so has the other hospital. I also called the school and informed them and i emailed the nurse, since she is not at the school yet. What else can I do? im tryig to make this as seemless as possible. I know his life has changed but I want to make it as smooth as possible. He went from a kid that was getting freedom to do what he wants and now hes told no baths, swiming, or learning to drive. If anyone has ant advice i would appreciate it. Thanks
