Parietal Lobe Seizures

Tue, 10/10/2006 - 17:44
I just wanted to see if anyone else out there had these and how they are for you. They just now started to hit that lobe around July or so. Before, it was my frontal and right temporal lobe, now it is also my parietal lobe. Once it moved there, I had a new type of seizures, similar to being shocked. They hurt and I stay awake. :(

Hi Ellie (((hug))) That's about the best I can do. I am awake through a number of my seizures. It's a mixed blessing. I have to remember the seizure, but I also am able to write things down shortly after.

I have seizures that originate from my parietal lobe. They aren't really bad. I never have complex partial seizures. My grand mals occur at night. Parietal lobe seizures are annoying, but usually I can continue to do whatever I was doing when I have them. The seizures that I have take on many different sensory distortions, most are not painful, and they don't keep me awake often. Some of them make me tired.
