Parietal Lobe Seizures

Tue, 10/10/2006 - 17:44
I just wanted to see if anyone else out there had these and how they are for you. They just now started to hit that lobe around July or so. Before, it was my frontal and right temporal lobe, now it is also my parietal lobe. Once it moved there, I had a new type of seizures, similar to being shocked. They hurt and I stay awake. :(

My daughter has spikes in the center of her parietal lobe, she has only had one seizure. It has been several months now and we are just waiting, only time will tell, however, I still want to know all I can to help her. How long have you had this and did your doctor explain how it "spreads" her has an unsusual spread, whatever that means and they think it is coming from deeper than normal. So we are going for an MRI soon.
