Scary episode in university can anyone offer help/support

Current medication: Keppra 500 mg on a morning Keppra 1,000 mg on a night Clonazepam 250g on a night (½ of a 500mg tablet) (started 14/12/2016) Circadin 2mg on a night (Melatonin) Hi I have been diagnosed as having epilepsy but they are calling it generalised epilepsy as I seem to have different kinds of seizures both on a night and during the day but I do not have grand mal. Recently I have noticed I have been sensitive to loud noises and in particular my friends in the classroom. Today I had an episode which went a little like this: Started off with a twitching foot which I believed was an aura for a seizure. About 5 minutes afterwards i started to feel displaced and out of it. I was aware of my surroundings but loud noises became amplified, I immediately become stressed and my heart started racing. I could not focus on anything and I had a severe migraine. I was then aware of my head dropping to my chest about twice like it was fighting to stay upright and then i had a small blackout- it was kind of like being sleepy but your not tired. This lasted for about a minute and then I felt fatigued and I was sick. My seizures have always been on a night before so this was something brand new. I think it may of been a partial motor seizure? but if anyone could shed light on their experiences id be so grateful thankyou p.s I'm new to this forum!!!!

Wow how helpful.  I cant thank you enough for that information.  I have been an epileptic since childhood but they have always been nocturnal hence the higher dose of tablets. During the night I have what you described as hearing and seeing what is occurring but I feel paralysed and cant move , sometimes I will thrash around the bed and cant stop it.I feel like the twitching foot was a seizure which then gradually turned into a full blown episode.  Like I said after my heart started racing, I remember the horrible feeling of panic and then my head flopping loosely like id lost control.  After that I was just sick and fatigued I could of laid asleep on the table in my classroom.I am trying to get my neurology appointment pushed forward as normally its a yearly review with a seizure diary inbetween which I keep and update. You have given me bigger hope and a push to see my doctor.Thank you.

I've had similar experiences.

I've had similar experiences. I always classified as a simple partial or complex partial seizures. Strong feeling of deja vu, senses heighten, heart races. I hope you feel better, keep us updated.
