Temporal Lobe Epilepsy?

Mon, 10/13/2014 - 21:11

Hello!

I'm hoping to hear anothe person's opinion on this, but I've become a little worried lately.

A while back (early June, I believe it was), I experienced a very strange feeling. I was hit quite suddenly by a feeling of deja vu and very shortly after, nausea. It lasted about 30 seconds or so, accompanied by a chill in my arms and being hot everywhere else - especially in my head area. Although I was kinda freaked out, I didn't think much of it even though it occurred a few times that day. It didn't happen the next day, or the next, so I really wasn't concerned at all.

Fast forward to yesterday and I started feeling that sense of deja vu once again while listening to myself and others talk at work. This time it was almost like I was recalling a dream, I don't know... it's kind of hard to describe. Anyways, I felt nauseous afterward, had the cold arms, heat in my head, etc. and thought back to June. It happened a couple more times later in the evening, but I let it go. Today I experienced three or four times, I'm not entirely sure on the exact number, but I finally decided to look up these symptoms. I wasn't sure I would find anything as I found it hard to describe what was happening, but I did stumble upon TLE and posts from others that described similar instances.

I don't know if I'm just being one of those crazy people who look up their symptoms and automatically start worrying or if I have grounds to be concerned...

If it is causing you worry

If it is causing you worry (and has continued), sounds like something you should follow up with your doctor, keep a record of when/what happens. Take care of yourself.
