Has anyone here gone through the diagnosis process for this type of Epilepsy? Can you tell me what it involves? Is there any other disease that has jerking and memory loss that is progressive? Thanks.

In case you are not familiar with the name it is Progressive Myoclonic Epilepsy. Usually occurs in children, but can happen later in life.
