Hi, I don't know if anyone can help me but here goes.  In August of last year I woke up with a headach on the right side of my head.  I went and got myself a glass of juice and when I finished it my eyesight was like looking through a funhouse effect.  I called a freind to take me to the hospital because I new soemthing wasn't right.  By the time she got to my house things had gotten worse. I was walking into walls and when she asked if I could see her I couldn't. 911 was called but by then time they got there I was unconsious.  I was taken to emergency and put on a ventlator and test were done eeg, ekg ect.  (mri could not be done because of implants in my mouth).  My friend was told I was having seizures and dialantin was givin to stop it but I was allegic to it. I spent 3 days in ICU which I have no memory of when I do remember the took me off the vent and told me I had to have surgery to open a block artery.  I remember some of what the Dr. told me but not much.  I was brought to the heart center following surgery where I recoved for 4 days.  The drs told me I had multiple seizures as well as my pressure was very high and my blood surgar was high.  I am a diabitic been for years.  I was put on keepra and released from the hospital.  My family Dr. told me they didn't know what kind of seizure i had but I had to be on the medication.  I continue to have seizures so they sent me to a neurologist who told me that I was boardline epilepic and that I had muliple seizures on my left side of my brian.  But I still don't know what that means.  I am with out insurance so they had to put me on Topamax becasue of the patient assistance program.  I have really bad memory loss and hard time doing things.  Does anyone esle experience this.  Sometimes I have seizures and forget days.  Thanks.
