Confusing neurological disease, hard to diagnose

Sat, 06/02/2007 - 21:09
Does anyone know what thiis set of symptoms can be? I've been seeing a neurologist and having tests, but he can't figure it out so far. I'm confused, since there are so many neurological disorders out there. I've been having myoclonic jerks of my right arm, episodes of dizziness and blacking out especially when I stand up, constant feelings of being disoriented or mentally paralyzed, forgetfulness, very brief episodes of inappropriate rage and anger (they last for just seconds at a time), and episodes of severe depression that hasn't responded to medication. It's very frustrating, especially the mental changes. It's been suggested that I might be having temporal lobe seizures, but I don't know much about those. I've been tested for vitamin deficiencies and hypoglycemia, but those turned out negative. I also had an MRI, which showed no tumors or brain damage. I had an EEG but didn't get the results yet. Does anyone have an idea of what this might be?
