Asking for a second EEG
Sun, 12/02/2012 - 21:13I had an EEG 5 yrs ago when this all started for grand mal seizures, but since then, petit mals have started and I've become very sensitive to flashing lights, they've become a bigger issue (the petit mals). I had a seizurre when I was pulled over by the police for a traffic violation. I want another eeg, but when Ive mentioned it b4, the neurologist said it wouldn't help, that if I didn't seize last time, I wouldn't now. I want another one. I feel strongly I WOULD have a seizure and it'd help him/me learn more about where in the brain it originates from and how to better treat it, right?
