Need some help and support...

Hey ladies I'm new to this website even though I've had epilepsy for 13 years. I have tonic clonic seizures as well as simple partial seizures. I also have auras and deja vu. I have started losing time though. I can't figure out if I am just zoning out or having seizures. I can lose up to 5 min (a guess) at a time. I realize all of a sudden that I haven't been doing anything. Usually it doesn't happen where anyone can see so I don't know what it looks like. I know I haven't been thinking about anything while I'm "gone". I plan on asking my neurologist when I go see him. I just wanted some other opinions. It has gotten a bit dangerous b/c I just ruined a pan by having this happen while cooking. Thanks for taking the time to read and any insights you can give me.

There was a time I didn't

There was a time I didn't want people to look at me like I was wierd or strange. I finally started telling people about the seizures I had and informed them of the different kinds of seizures I have had. I told them what to do if they ever saw me in one. Some people would back away but most used the information. One had a family member who had a seizure at a family meeting. I was informed that she was telling the people what to do and getting people calmed down. She did thank me for informing her and she has been doing that at her chruch.Good luck with the neurologist   Will be looking for your post Joe
