Active duty military expectations

Tue, 05/14/2013 - 02:35
Hello everyone, I am currently an active duty sailor that was lucky enough to land one of the coveted STA-21 spots and will be commissioning in under a week. I have recently been experiencing "aura" symptoms of deja vu and have had two witnessed tonic clonic seizures and one suspected. I have had an ekg, echocardiogram, mri, holter monitor, and a 30 minute eeg and everything has returned normal. My co is aware of everything and is going to allow me to commission as I am still undiagnosed. My question is if my doctor diagnoses me with epilepsy, what will happen next? Do i go to a MTF, do I have a shot of staying nuke, or at least cross rate to restricted line? Essentially I just want to know what to expect. Thank you all in advance.

Ok so here is an update. My chain of command has been working with just about every entity known to man. It had been decided that I will be sent tad (temporary orders) to great lakes medical facility and essentially have all my tests redone and get a new diagnosis. I will update as I go so future people know what happens in this situation.
