Ugly charm

My mom just bought me a charm indicating that I have epilepsy, but it is soooo ugly. Does anyone know where I can find one that isn't so gross?

Hi, My daughter doesn't like most of the standard medical emblems either. I was able to find a few that didn't seem so bad. Here are a few sites that you may find toggle bracelets, lockets, and some charms. For lockets & toggle-charm-bracelets that are a bit more discreet, check out: www.911destiny.com You may also find bracelets on: www.dreamdesignsjewelry.com, www.finejewelrydiscounts.net, or http://www.stickyj.com/meidbr.html (some emblems are very small) Some sites also offer heart charms with etched medical emblems (without the red enamel) that can be engraved on the back. When placed on a charm bracelet, the average person wouldn't notice it. Also, I had found a nice sterling silver bracelet on ebay. While it had a medical emblem, it was raised silver, so wasn't as noticeable, unless one was looking for it. Just a few ideas. Hope this helps a bit. ~ MaggiesMarbles

My theory all thru highschool - I had to wear a silver bracelet - didn't like it. So, I got my parents to buy me a really cool silver trendy watch and wore that on the same wrist. People always notice the watch just as much if not more than the bracelet. You can tell people that "silver" is your favorite. Then, as you get older, white gold has to blend...or platnium. And, hey - any guy who can afford white gold or platnium jewlery is a keeper :) Just buy jewlery to match & set the standards high. haha. I'm 32, common-law, and have a white gold necklace, and white gold/diamond promise ring that people notice more than the medic alert. Hmmmm...and when he upgrades to engagement ring? For now though, you're young - find a trendy watch that matches the charm bracelet (assuming that's what you have)...and call them a pair. After all, you need a watch to be on time for class, hehe.
