MJ & seizures

Hey this might be a silly question but i'm gonna ask it anyway and plz don't attack. So i've been seizure free almost 2 years now (knock on wood) and entering college, my neuro said it would be okay to have a couple beers. I really thought about it and thought it was kind of insane to drink while on meds and just being an epileptic in general. However, he also said i could smoke. And when you think about it...it's seems safer. And in college, all people do is drink. 24/7. Sooo smoking is what gets me by. I don't do it often AT ALL. so i was just wondering whether you guys smoke and your experiences...good or bad.

ahhahahaha youre hysterical. and im not being sarcastic. i totally understand what youre saying. i thought it was crazy at first too. but no actually he like saved my life. and if you read the forum on "Complementary Therapies...." apparently many epileptics smoke and it keeps them seizure free. or so they say. then again some are curious about shrooms? haha i don't even know what people are thinking. that craaaaazy talk. alright thanks you brought the lol.

Your doctor said it was ok to smoke weed and also drink? What? Did he get his degree at a weekend course in Tijuana? Sounds like he smokes it and has brain damage. Maybe he's a throwback from the '60's and hits the bong every night after coming home from the hospital. Crazy. Let me guess, he's got a pony tail and is really laid back. Weed makes lots of people deeply depressed and seizures along with the medication can also put you in a deep rut. Add a few beers with that you've got problems. I would stay away from that doctor and his bad advice. I recently read an article on marajuana and mental disorders. They are much more common among people who smoke weed. It's probably true that people who are drawn to using drugs already have mental issues but these drugs can make them worse and also cause problems of their own. Stay sober and keep your head on straight. You've got enough to deal with.
