Lupus and Epilepsy

Sun, 11/19/2006 - 12:59
Hi! I was diagnosed with Temporal Lobe Epilepsy and Frontal Lobe Epilepsy approximately two months ago. However, I have also just been diagnosed with Lupus and was wondering if anyone else out there has both Epilepsy and Lupus (S.L.E.)? If so, does your Lupus make your Epilepsy worse? I am just concerned about this because I know that Lupus (S.L.E.) can affect the brain and nervous system. Thanks a lot! :)

It really bothers me when I hear that. "My family member has a serious illness. They fake it a lot." I don't understand that mindset. How can you know that someone you love has a serious illness and not take their pain seriously. =( It really upsets me to hear that. It sounds very calloused and unkind.
