Does anyone else feel like you know when your seizure is coming?

Hey, I'm new...I've had epilepsy since I was about 11...I'm almost 18 now. Anyways, sometimes, most days when I'm about to have a seizure, throughout the day, I have these weird "feelings". I can't really describe it, but I think there is a word for it, like a warning signal I guess. I don't know if anyone knows what I'm talking about. But the feeling is really weird, like all of a sudden, I get the chills, and my body feels cold, and I get this weird feeling, almost like a da sha vuu, like I remember "thinking" this thought before, but then I forget it. I don't know...it's very weird, and I know I'm probably not making any sense. Anyways, I know I'm not having a seizure then because I am fully conscious and don't make any movements. But I might have a few of those moments through out the day leading up to my seziure.

Anyways, I was just wondering if anyone else got thos feelings, since I suspect it's related to my epilepsy. Or maybe you want to share any other ways you know you're seziure is coming on.

I have complex partial seizures by the way.

I know exactly what you mean. It's horrifying. The feeling is terrible. I get the same symptoms as you but I also feel "heavy headed", panic attacks, a little sick, and depressed. I have this feeling during the day and I usually have a seizure the same day or the next. I always try to be aware and I try to fight or control the auras but I always end up having a seizure :/

That "feeling" or warning

That "feeling" or warning sign is called an aura. For me right before i have a seizure, my neck will start turning and it feels like if i dont keep moving, my neck will break, then i just collapse. And my seizure starts. Some people say they taste something weird in their mouth, others see light that aren't there. Just look that up.

No, I take this pill called Keppra twice a day and have to go six months without a siezers before I can even think to be cleared to start driving again. Stay positive kid!⚡⚡
