temporal lobe surgery

Mon, 02/02/2015 - 20:29

Hi everyone, I am going through all the tests to determine whether or not I am a candidate for temporal lobe surgery...so far, it's looking like I will be a candidate.  I was just wondering what people's experiences were with this type of surgery, the risks, side-effects, could you drive afterwards, etc?  My goal is to not have anymore seizures, to be able to drive again, and return to work and having a normal life.  Any input and/or feedback would be very helpful.  Thanks.
