Right Temporal Lobe Outlook Questions
Sun, 08/27/2006 - 15:54Topic: Surgery and Devices
So the Doctors say I'll be okay if I decide to have surgery- maybe a small blindspot if they cut up an optic nerve. Questions to those who have had this done- 1. Did you all have headaches? cause i don't even have headaches now and i've had a previous bran surgury to remove a brain tumor...
2. Can you remember things visually? I remember things mostly by saying to myself- oh well i walked past the table on the right and then put something down on the floor and then put the keys by the door so the keys are by the door... Does this seem to be something that would be gone after surgery?
3. Do you dream? I have awesome, crazy, vivid dreams now and some, are seizure related i know but I don't want to just never dream again- so do you dream?
4. Has there been anything and i mean anything that you have lost the ability to do in it's full capacity whether it be remembering a recipe to drawing a picture since you've had this done- i'm a fairly creative person and i'm afraid that well, they'll cut all the creativeness out!
p.s. your jaws were sore because they cut the muscle that holds your jaws to your skull in order to cut your skulls open.- sorry to be creepy
Thanks
Amanda
