Seizures with psychic symptoms? Please help!!!!

Hi everyone! I am a 30 y/o woman who has been experiencing "episodes" for 13-14 years. I had two this week, which were severe enough to scare me. I just finally went to see my doc today, who feels they could very well be seizures and is sending me to a neuro for evaluation. She is sending me for an MRI and EEG so that I can go to the neuro with them in hand...
These episodes generally happen randomly, but I've noticed that some pop up right when I'm drifting off to sleep. Why I've never thought there is something physically wrong with me until now, is beyond me. They start with a feeling of dread that something bad is going to happen, and I feel this throughout my entire body. Then, I enter a state of what I can only describe as being between dreaming and being awake. I'm conscious, but I feel entranced. It is during this state that I experience intense feelings of deja vu, dread, fear and I feel like I'm having premonitions of the future (I swear, I'm not crazy). Afterwards, my head tingles all over, I feel disoriented and confused, I begin sweating all over and I feel as though someone has stuffed my head full of cotton. At this point, the episode ends, but I'm left with the cotton brain feeling for several hours and I feel as though I've run a marathon and all I want to do is sleep.
I used to tell my mom when I was younger that I was experiencing these symptoms and she told me that I was having premonitions. LOL. Maybe that's why I never bothered to talk to a doc about it? However, the episodes I had this past Tuesday and Wednesday were so intense, my husband swore I was having seizures. He ran over to me and said that I looked like I wasn't there, that I was staring off into space and then I had this look of intense fear on my face. He also said that he doesn't know why he didn't think of this before, as he's watched me have dozens of them...
Is there anyone here that has experienced a similar thing???? I'm terrified.

You're not crazy. Unless we both are. I have the exact same experience. With the feelings of dread, fear, extremely intense deja vu and I've never known what to call them but your description of "premonitions" is perfect. They started in my early 20s as far as I can remember. And I never had a doctor to see about them or I just didn't think it was serious enough but I had told my psychologist and he told me I was having "psychic seizures" otherwise known as a type of "simple partial seizure". And I figured that was it. Just something to deal with. When I became pregnant at 25, about five months into my pregnancy, on New Years night, I had my first Grand Mal seizure and fell off the bed onto my stomach. My partner rushed me to the hospital where I woke up not knowing who he was, where I was, anything. When I came around, I stayed there for a day, came home, had another. They rehospitalized me for a week, doing tests to discover I have Corticol Dysplasia where the brain doesn't form to the edge of the skull during birth. I got put on Tegretol and have been on it ever since with brief relapses, always only at night. (For the Grand Mals anyway) The psychic seizures receeded besides brief beginnings of an episode every once in a while.Now my Doctor has me on Melatonin and they've resurfaced something awful. I'm having intense psychic seizures and trying to figure out what the hell is happening. Sorry to spam your post with a full book, I just want you to know you are not alone. And if you have them tamed, beware of Melatonin.

Hey people, these can be signs of a spiritual awakening too, before ingesting pharmaceutical drugs, make sure to read a bit about 'Kundalini awakening' and its symtoms, things like these are commonplace in India, and these days there alot of books too on the subject.

I have never been diagnosed with anything but I have Psychic seizures. They started since I was 3 years old, I always got them when something really major happened like when a car ran over a few kids and a woman at my older brothers school. My mom did not believe me until it would actually happen. I would see things that everyone else couldn't see, smell death on people when they were sick and about to die. I could see them dead eventhough they still lived. I have lived most of my life in fear. Now I am 36 and I have learned to let God and my spirit guides show me the way. Now that I am older it's coming back but stronger. My mom is from Mexico and she tells me my great grandfather and grandfather were like me. I am scared to go to Mexico for many reasons. It's not safe the cartel and spiritually I can't handle an attack. I have people that are somewhat like me help me but they can't help me the way I need them to. I need to learn to control these feelings.
